Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily functioning of the online coaching platform, managing class schedules, coordinating with teachers and students, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. This role requires excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

1. Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Class & Academic Operations



Plan, schedule, and manage online class timetables, batches, and teacher allocations. Ensure classes start on time and resolve any live session issues. Coordinate with faculty for content uploads, assignments, tests, and doubt sessions. Manage exam schedules, test papers, student evaluations, and result dashboards.

2. Platform & Technical Support



Oversee functioning of LMS, Zoom/Meet/online teaching tools. Coordinate with tech team for timely resolution of software/technical issues. Ensure smooth access management for students and teachers (login, passwords, permissions).

3. Student Support & Service Delivery



Handle student/parent queries regarding classes, schedules, tests, or platform usage. Maintain high service quality and ensure timely resolution of issues. Track student attendance, engagement, and performance; prepare MIS reports. Conduct student orientation sessions for new batches.

4. Faculty Coordination



Communicate schedules, reminders, and academic requirements to teachers. Ensure faculty availability and manage substitute arrangements when required. Collect feedback from teachers and streamline academic processes.

5. Operations & Process Management



Create and maintain SOPs for smooth academic and operational workflow. Monitor daily operations and ensure adherence to company standards. Optimize processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports.

6. Communication & Cross-Department Coordination



Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Accounts to ensure seamless operations. Share class updates, academic progress, and student issues with relevant teams. Support marketing events, webinars, demo classes, and orientation programs.

7. Performance Monitoring & Improvements



Track operational KPIs: attendance, class delivery, student issues, turnaround time. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for continuous improvement. Generate insights based on student and faculty feedback.

8. Compliance & Administration



Maintain records, documentation, and data accuracy across systems. Ensure privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with institute policies. Oversee administrative aspects related to online academic delivery.
