Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project and Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of sustainability and technology-driven field projects, while managing the operational efficiency of our growing organisation.

This role combines project leadership, operations management, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and the organisation operates seamlessly. The ideal candidate brings a balance of structure, initiative, and adaptability -- comfortable working in dynamic environments spanning sustainability, energy, and digital transformation domains.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Delivery

Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects across sustainability, IoT, and energy domains. Oversee scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and reporting to ensure projects meet scope, quality, and timeline requirements. Coordinate field deployments, installation activities, and vendor engagements for on-ground project execution. Manage risk, safety, and compliance aspects of all field operations. Support technical teams with documentation, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless delivery.

Operational Management

Develop and implement efficient operational systems, processes, and workflows across the organisation. Manage administrative, financial, and contractual operations related to ongoing projects. Streamline coordination between project, technical, and business development teams. Support leadership in resource planning, project prioritisation, and performance tracking. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Execute and deliver project proposals, schedules and completion reports

Team and Stakeholder Coordination

Conduct field and operations staff, ensuring alignment between technical delivery and client expectations. Collaborate closely with consultants, engineers, and data specialists to maintain consistent project communication. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Report project progress and operational metrics to senior management.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and field delivery performance. Introduce project management best practices, tools, and templates to enhance execution quality. Contribute to knowledge sharing and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or a related discipline. Experience in project and operations management, preferably in sustainability, utilities, or technology sectors. Proven experience managing field projects -- from planning to implementation -- with a strong understanding of logistics and technical operations. Familiarity with sustainability, energy management, IoT, or environmental monitoring projects is an advantage. Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) and operational reporting systems. Certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is desirable.
