Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly organized and experienced

Operations Manager - PEB

to oversee and coordinate end-to-end project execution by ensuring seamless communication and workflow between the

fabrication plant

and

project sites

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning production schedules with project timelines, managing logistics, resolving site-plant coordination issues, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a

cross-functional leadership role

that demands technical knowledge of PEB systems, strong operational control, and excellent coordination abilities.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Plant-Site Coordination:



Act as the central point of contact between fabrication (plant) and erection (site) teams. Ensure timely dispatch of fabricated components as per erection sequence and site requirements. Monitor progress of fabrication vs. erection and proactively resolve bottlenecks or delays.
2.

Production & Planning Support:



Collaborate with plant production, QA/QC, and logistics teams to align production output with site needs. Review production schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
3.

Project Execution Oversight:



Monitor and track project milestones from production to site erection and final handover. Coordinate material readiness, drawing approvals, dispatches, and site mobilization.
4.

Quality & Compliance:



Ensure quality standards are maintained during fabrication and erection stages. Work with QA/QC teams to address non-conformities, site issues, or rework requirements.
5.

Stakeholder Coordination:



Liaise with project managers, client representatives, logistics providers, and subcontractors. Maintain clear communication with all departments for smooth project flow.
6.

Documentation & Reporting:



Maintain comprehensive reports on production status, material dispatch, site progress, and risk logs. Conduct regular review meetings and submit MIS reports to senior management.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

(Master's in Project Management or Operations is a plus).

5 - 12 years

of experience in the PEB/structural steel industry, with at least 3+ years in operations or project execution. Solid understanding of PEB systems, structural components, fabrication, and erection workflows. Experience managing cross-functional teams across manufacturing and construction sites. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and plant.

Preferred Skills:



Knowledge of codes and standards: MBMA, AISC, IS codes, AWS. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar design tools (for coordination purposes). Experience with logistics planning and subcontractor/vendor coordination. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
