The Operations Manager will assist the Restaurant Manager in managing staff, improving service quality, monitoring inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the outlet. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, organized, and committed to maintaining high hospitality standards.
Responsibilities:
Support the Restaurant Manager in daily outlet operations and decision-making.
Supervise and guide Captains, Hostesses, Stewards, and Utility staff.
Ensure smooth service flow, guest satisfaction, and timely food delivery.
Maintain hygiene, grooming, and discipline standards across the team.
Prepare staff schedules and duty rosters.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams for smooth communication.
Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
Monitor inventory, maintain records, and ensure proper stock control.
Assist in achieving revenue, profitability, and cost control targets.
Conduct daily staff briefings and monthly meetings.
Train and mentor team members to meet company service standards.
Maintain outlet cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and proper maintenance follow-up.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
Previous experience as a Captain or Assistant Manager preferred.
Graduate or diploma in hotel/restaurant management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of restaurant service, staff management, and cost control.
Team player with a hands-on and positive attitude.
Able to handle fast-paced environments and guest interactions confidently.
