Job Description

The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and upkeep of the hotel property. This role involves managing day-to-day hotel operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with hospitality standards, and maintaining the property's physical assets to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Operational Management



Oversee daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and guest services. Ensure smooth coordination across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. Monitor occupancy, room rates, reservations, and yield management strategies.

Financial & Administrative



Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports. Control operating costs while maintaining high-quality service standards. Monitor revenue streams and maximize profitability through effective pricing and upselling strategies. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, licensing, and statutory requirements.

Guest Relations & Customer Service



Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly with professionalism. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Oversee guest feedback channels and implement service improvements.

Staff & Team Management



Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff across all departments. Create work schedules, assign responsibilities, and evaluate staff performance. Motivate and lead teams to deliver consistent hospitality standards. Conduct regular staff meetings and training programs.

Property Maintenance & Compliance



Oversee preventive maintenance, safety, and security of the property. Ensure the property complies with health, safety, and fire regulations. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers for property upkeep. Plan and oversee renovations or upgrades as required.

Sales & Marketing Support



Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to increase bookings. Build relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and online booking platforms (OTAs). Support promotional campaigns, events, and local partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). 5-10 years of experience in hotel operations or property management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Preference to Candidates with advanced knowledge in educational programs like Housekeeping Management and Interior Decoration. Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, budgeting, and property maintenance. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving ability with a customer-centric approach. Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
