Operation Manager

reports to the

Director Operations

and is part of the

Manufacturing Operations

located in

Pune

and will be an on-site role.

The essential requirements of the job include



Lead end-to-end execution of a new manufacturing site, from infrastructure planning to operational readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely setup of production lines, utilities, and support systems. Team Management: Hiring, Onboarding, Talent Management, Employee Engagement I collaboration with HR Champion Lean Management tools and methodologies (Kaizen, PSP, VPM, Daily Management, etc.) to build a lean, agile, and high-performance manufacturing culture. Drive standard work, visual management, and problem-solving practices across all levels. Implement robust quality systems and ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements. Manage daily operations, production planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demand and quality expectations. Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Qualifications & Skills:



B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical /Production Engineering or related field) with 12-14 yrs of relevant experience, with 7-8 yrs of managing medium size teams in Manufacturing. M.Tech/M.S/MBA will be preferred 10 years of experience in Manufacturing and Operations, preferably in filtration or precision engineering domains. Proven success in leading greenfield or brownfield manufacturing setups. Experience in line transfer projects will be preferred. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in regulatory compliance, process validation and commercial production launch. Willingness to travel: 20-30% including International Travel.
