Orbiz Creativez is a fast-growing manufacturing and personalization company specializing in corporate gifts, personalized products, home decor, mementos, and branded merchandise. We serve both B2B and B2C clients across India, with an annual business value exceeding ?120+ Million.
Our operations span design, printing, manufacturing, quality control, inventory management, dispatch, and customer fulfillment, supported by a team of 100+ employees. As we scale further, we are looking for a strong Operations Manager to streamline systems, improve efficiency, and lead day-to-day operations with ownership.
Role Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end operational excellence across manufacturing, production planning, inventory, quality, logistics, and cross-department coordination.
This role demands a hands-on leader who can balance people management, process optimization, cost control, and delivery timelines, while working closely with the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing & Production Operations
Plan, monitor, and optimize daily production schedules across departments
Ensure timely execution of manufacturing orders with minimal downtime
Improve productivity, throughput, and capacity utilization
Coordinate with design, printing, fabrication, finishing, and packing teams
Implement SOPs and standard work instructions for all production processes
2. Process Improvement & Cost Control
Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean / process improvement initiatives
Reduce material wastage, rework, and operational inefficiencies
Control operational costs without compromising quality or delivery timelines
Drive continuous improvement culture across teams
3. Inventory, Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Oversee raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory
Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or over-stocking
Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely material availability
Monitor purchase costs, lead times, and supplier performance
4. Quality Control & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards for all products
Implement quality checkpoints at key stages of production
Reduce customer complaints, returns, and rework rates
Maintain documentation for quality processes and audits
5. Dispatch, Logistics & Order Fulfillment
Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of B2B and B2C orders
Coordinate with logistics partners for on-time deliveries
Monitor order TATs, dispatch accuracy, and delivery performance
Work closely with sales and customer support teams to resolve order issues
6. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Lead and manage supervisors, team leaders, and floor staff
Allocate manpower effectively across departments and shifts
Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline
Conduct performance reviews and recommend training / improvements
Act as a problem-solver and decision-maker on the shop floor
7. Reporting & Management Coordination
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports
Track KPIs related to production, wastage, quality, delivery, and efficiency
Share actionable insights with management for strategic decisions
Support leadership in scaling operations and capacity expansion
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Production / Operations / Industrial Management
MBA / PG Diploma in Operations (Preferred, not mandatory)
Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations / Manufacturing Management
Prior experience in printing, gifting, packaging, manufacturing, or personalization industries is a strong advantage
Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and logistics
Ability to handle high-volume, fast-turnaround manufacturing environments
Excellent people management and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Comfortable working in hands-on, on-site operational roles
