The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the hospital to ensure seamless patient services, efficient resource utilization, compliance with regulatory requirements, and achievement of organizational goals. The candidate must have prior hospital operations experience, demonstrate leadership qualities, and possess strong communication skills in Marathi and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Hospital Operations & Administration
Supervise daily hospital operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments (clinical, non-clinical, and support services).
Monitor patient flow, reduce waiting times, and improve overall patient satisfaction.
Coordinate with medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Implement and monitor hospital policies, SOPs, and protocols.
Staff Management & Coordination
Lead and manage the operations team, including front office, housekeeping, security, dietary, and other non-clinical staff.
Plan staff duty rosters, leave management, and ensure adequate manpower availability.
Conduct regular training and skill development programs in coordination with HR and Quality teams.
Quality, Compliance & Accreditation
Ensure compliance with NABH/NABL/JCI and other regulatory requirements.
Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and hospital accreditation processes.
Monitor safety protocols, biomedical waste management, and infection control compliance.
Finance & Resource Management
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and revenue cycle management.
Optimize resource utilization - infrastructure, equipment, and manpower.
Monitor vendor contracts, AMC, procurement, and inventory management in coordination with purchase & accounts department.
Patient Experience & Grievance Handling
Ensure patient-centric services with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Handle patient grievances and feedback with prompt resolution.
Implement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction scores.
Strategic & Reporting Responsibilities
Support management in planning and executing operational strategies.
Maintain MIS reports on operations, quality indicators, and performance metrics.
Actively participate in hospital committees (safety, quality, patient care).
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or equivalent.
Minimum
5 years of proven experience in hospital operations
(multispeciality preferred).
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Must be fluent in
Marathi and English
(spoken and written).
Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management software.
