Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all departments of the restaurant. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to oversee staff, manage budgets, and maintain the high standards M Grill is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction through attentive service and quality control. Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure cost control and quality. Monitor labor costs, scheduling, and operational budgets. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Collaborate with the management team on marketing initiatives, events, and promotions. Analyze operational reports and implement process improvements. Handle guest feedback, resolve issues promptly, and maintain brand reputation. Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management (fine dining or steakhouse experience is a plus). Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs. Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Flexible schedule--must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
