Role Overview



We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and self-driven

Operations Manager

who can independently manage the daily operations of the sanitaryware and plumbing division. The ideal candidate will come with solid industry experience and the ability to run operations without supervision, while also supporting the sales team to achieve targets.
The role includes overseeing daily operations, customer visits, relationship building, team coordination, and implementation of systems and SOPs for smooth workflow. This position is ideal for someone who wants long-term career stability and is ready to take ownership of the entire operational function.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across logistics, dispatch, stock handling, customer coordination, and team supervision.

Ensure accurate inventory management, stock movement, material tracking, and timely delivery to customers.

Visit existing and new customers when required to strengthen relationships, understand market needs, and resolve issues.

Support the sales team in achieving monthly and annual targets through coordination, follow-ups, and ensuring operational readiness.

Implement, monitor, and improve SOPs, workflows, and operational systems for overall efficiency.

Coordinate with suppliers, dealers, transporters, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Resolve operational bottlenecks and customer complaints promptly with a solution-oriented approach.

Prepare reports and operational metrics for management review.

Lead, train, and guide the operations team to maintain productivity and discipline.

Maintain high standards of service quality, accuracy, and professionalism across all operations.

Education & Qualifications



Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Operations, or related fields.

Additional certifications in operations, supply chain, or logistics will be an advantage.

Experience

5-6 years of experience in operations, preferably in sanitaryware, bath fittings, plumbing, hardware, or building materials.

Proven experience managing operations independently.

Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of industrial products, stock management, logistics, billing, and customer handling.

Excellent leadership, team supervision, and coordination skills.

Ability to visit customers, maintain strong relationships, and represent the brand professionally.

Good analytical and problem-solving ability with a system-oriented mindset.

Proficiency in MS Office, inventory software, and reporting tools.

Ability to support the sales team through operational planning and timely execution.
