Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day fleet operations including
driver allocation, vehicle scheduling, and shift planning
Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules to maximize efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory standards
Supervise, train, and motivate the operations team to meet performance targets
Handle driver relationship management, attrition control, and incentive planning
Monitor operational KPIs and generate MIS reports for management review
Coordinate with other departments (HR, Finance, Customer Support) to ensure seamless operations
Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 5-8 years in
fleet/transport/logistics operations
, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role
Strong understanding of
fleet management, transport compliance, and driver engagement
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Proficiency in MS Office and MIS reporting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
