Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between the
New York office
and the
Bombay factory
.
Oversee and track
jewelry production, casting, assembly, and QC
stages to ensure on-time delivery.
Manage and support a
team of 2-3 people
across operations and logistics.
Maintain detailed reports and trackers using
Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
.
Coordinate daily with the production unit for work status, timelines, and issue resolution.
Communicate updates, progress reports, and challenges clearly to the New York office.
Assist in vendor coordination, material procurement, and shipment scheduling.
Occasionally visit the factory to oversee operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain workflow efficiency.
Implement and optimize internal processes to improve productivity and quality control.
Requirements
2-5 years
of experience in operations, production, or supply chain management (jewelry industry preferred).
Basic jewelry knowledge
(understanding of casting, assembly, polishing, or stone setting).
Strong
Excel
skills
Excellent communication skills -- comfortable working across time zones and teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
Based in or near
Mumbai
, with flexibility for occasional travel to the factory.
