Operations Manager - Financial Vertical

We are a rapidly expanding financial services organization launching a critical new vertical across

Insurance, Mutual Funds, and Retail Loans

. We are seeking an experienced

Operations Manager

to lead this expansion, ensuring all operations are smooth, compliant, and highly efficient. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise within the

Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC)

ecosystem.

Qualifications



Experience:

7

+ years

of progressive experience in operations within the financial services industry, with direct exposure to at least one of the following: Insurance, Mutual Funds, or Loan operations.

Sector Knowledge:

Proven experience operating within or with regulatory knowledge of the

NBFC

environment, understanding the specific compliance and reporting demands.

Compliance Expertise:

Strong working knowledge of

financial compliance and regulations

(RBI, SEBI, IRDAI) related to these three financial domains.

Leadership & Skills:

Excellent

leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills

with a focus on process automation and scaling.

Language Fluency:

Fluent in Hindi

is required for essential team and stakeholder communication. Professional working proficiency in

English is preferred

.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Leadership & Efficiency



Establish & Optimize:

Design, implement, and continuously refine the operational procedures and workflows for all new Insurance, Mutual Funds, and Loan products.

Team Building:

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of ownership, accuracy, and efficiency.

Cross-Functional Strategy:

Collaborate with Technology, Product, and Sales teams to ensure operational readiness for all product launches and system integrations.

Compliance & Risk Management



Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure all processes strictly comply with relevant financial regulations (AML/KYC, RBI/SEBI/IRDAI guidelines).

NBFC Context:

Specifically manage operations with the vigilance and reporting standards required within the NBFC regulatory framework.

Control Implementation:

Develop and enforce robust internal controls, quality checks, and reconciliation processes to mitigate operational risk and prevent errors.
