We are building a strong leadership team for Coffee Culture as we expand across Surat with new outlets, innovative cafe experiences, dark kitchens, and high-volume operations.
The
Operations Head - Surat
will be the strategic owner of end-to-end cafe operations across multiple outlets. This role goes far beyond routine cafe supervision -- you will lead P&L, people, quality, customer experience, procurement, supply chain, and operational excellence.
This is a
commercial + people + operations leadership role
for someone who can run Surat like their own business unit.
What You Will Lead1. Multi-Outlet Operations Management
Lead day-to-day operations for all Surat outlets (cafe + kitchen units)
Maintain SOPs across service, hygiene, safety & compliance
Conduct regular audits: taste, quality, ambience, hygiene, speed-of-service
Ensure smooth coordination between FOH + BOH + supply chain
2. People Leadership & Training
Lead, manage & mentor outlet managers, baristas, kitchen teams & service staff
Build strong hiring pipelines for Surat
Implement training systems (service, beverage, food, grooming, guest handling)
Drive discipline, accountability & performance culture
3. Revenue, Cost & P&L Ownership
Own monthly revenue targets for all outlets
Improve ABV, footfall & repeat customers
Monitor food cost %, beverage cost %, wastage & variance
Optimise staff cost, operational cost & vendor cost
Drive profitability through data-backed decisions
4. Customer Experience & Brand Standards
Create a consistent, elevated Coffee Culture experience
Resolve escalations & maintain a 5-star service culture
Drive guest engagement & loyalty programmes
Build weekly in-store events/rituals to increase walk-ins
5. Kitchen, Menu & Quality Control
Coordinate with R&D & central kitchen for menu rollouts
Ensure quality consistency in coffee, food, bakery & beverages
Maintain daily production planning & demand forecasting
6. Vendor, Purchase & Inventory Management
Oversee procurement for Surat outlets
Build strong vendor relationships (fresh produce, packaging, cafe supplies)
Maintain inventory accuracy across all units
Implement tight controls to avoid pilferage & wastage
7. Projects & Expansion
Lead operational setup for new Surat outlets
Handle licensing, compliance, equipment installation & staffing
Build SOPs & systems for new cafe formats or concepts
maintained
Zero quality deviations across outlets
Training completion rate: 100% for all teams
Reduction in wastage & pilferage
Decrease in customer complaints + increase in repeat guests
Successful launch & stabilisation of new outlets
Smooth operations with high staff discipline
Who Should Apply
You are a strong fit if you...
Have
7-12 years
of experience in F&B, cafe chains, QSR, restaurants, dark kitchens, or hospitality operations
Have managed multi-outlet operations
Are strong in P&L, cost control & budgeting
Are excellent with people, training & team discipline
Are process-driven but equally comfortable in fast-moving environments
Communicate clearly, think strategically & execute fast
Have a hands-on leadership mindset and love being on the floor
