Job Overview:



The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all operational aspects of events. This role involves managing logistics, vendor coordination, staffing, budgeting, and on-site event execution to ensure smooth and successful delivery of projects, while maintaining high quality standards and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Event Operations & Execution:



Lead the operational planning and on-ground execution of events, from setup to closure. Develop detailed operational plans, timelines, and task lists for each project. Ensure all equipment, materials, and manpower are arranged as per event requirements. Manage and supervise event setup, rehearsals, and dismantling activities.

2. Vendor & Supplier Management:



Identify, negotiate, and finalize vendors, suppliers, and service providers for events. Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries and quality standards. Oversee contracts, payments, and vendor performance evaluations.

3. Logistics & Resource Management:



Plan and manage logistics, transportation, and inventory for events. Ensure availability of required resources like audio-visual equipment, furniture, decor items, etc. Maintain a database of vendors, materials, and logistics partners.

4. Team Management:



Supervise and guide operations staff, freelancers, and temporary event teams. Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide necessary training or support. Coordinate with internal teams including creative, production, and client servicing.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control:



Prepare operational budgets and ensure adherence to approved costs. Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Ensure profitability through efficient resource allocation and vendor negotiations.

6. Compliance & Safety:



Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and permits. Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to minimize on-site issues.

7. Reporting & Documentation:



Prepare post-event operational reports, learnings, and documentation. Maintain accurate records of operational activities, vendor agreements, and resource utilization.

Required Skills:



Strong event planning and operational management skills. Good negotiation and vendor management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Leadership and team management capabilities. Strong multitasking and time management skills. Familiarity with event logistics, permits, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Qualification:



Graduate in Event Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:



5 to 7 years of experience in event operations, logistics, or project management in the event management industry or advertising Industry

Work Requirements:



Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as per event schedules. Ability to travel to event sites as required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?150,000.00 per month
