About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented
Operations Manager - Domestic FIT & GIT Segment
to manage tailor-made individual tours and fixed group departures across India. This role involves end-to-end domestic travel operations, with a strong focus on service quality, vendor coordination, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee
end-to-end operations for Domestic FIT & GIT tours
, ensuring smooth execution from booking to guest return.
Plan and execute
customized domestic travel itineraries
and
group tour packages
(fixed and ad-hoc).
Collaborate with
hotels, transporters, DMCs, guides, and local vendors
to secure cost-effective and high-quality services.
Manage
group logistics
, including transport arrangements, meals, accommodations, sightseeing coordination, and escort services.
Ensure timely confirmations and documentation for all bookings (hotels, transport, train/flight tickets, permits, etc.).
Handle
cross-selling of additional services
such as travel insurance, special experiences, and excursions.
Coordinate closely with the
Sales Team
to understand client expectations, provide solutions, and address operational issues.
Maintain
destination knowledge
of key Indian travel circuits - Himachal, Kerala, Rajasthan, North East, Goa, Uttarakhand, Andaman, etc.
Manage escalations or last-minute issues in a professional and customer-centric manner.
Stay updated on
domestic travel trends, government advisories
, and seasonal destination demand.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in
Domestic FIT and GIT tour operations
Knowledge of
Indian destinations
, routes, travel logistics, and supplier base
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and client coordination
skills
Familiarity with
travel CRMs and OTA platforms
(e.g., IRCTC, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, AbhiBus, Redbus, etc.)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple itineraries simultaneously
High level of customer service orientation and team coordination
