We're Hiring: Operations Leader - Multispecialty / EM Coding / RCM (U.S. Healthcare)

Are you a seasoned leader in medical coding operations with a passion for driving excellence in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)? We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Leader with 10+ years of proven expertise in managing coding teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance across multispecialty and EM coding domains.

This is a leadership role where you will oversee end-to-end coding operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction while mentoring and inspiring high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage large coding teams, ensuring operational efficiency and coding accuracy (98%+).

Oversee multispecialty coding, E/M auditing projects, and RCM initiatives, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs.

Implement coding guidelines, process improvements, and quality assurance frameworks.

Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for clients: manage expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.

Drive financial oversight, including billing processes, data collection, invoice preparation, and budget adherence.

Mentor, train, and engage staff--supporting retention, career growth, and performance excellence.

Conduct regular audits, compliance checks, and deliver strategic operational improvements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.

Required Skills & Expertise

Leadership & Team Management - proven track record in managing large coding teams.

Coding Knowledge - ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, HIPAA compliance.

Medical Coding & RCM - provider/payor coding, adjudication, and medical records review.

Technology - EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Meditech, Cerner), AI tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Operational Excellence - project execution, process improvement, quality analysis, stakeholder management, and business continuity planning.

Soft Skills - strong decision-making, analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
