About the Role:The Financial Services Division Finance team is looking for an Operations Lead for its finance innovation initiative, Finance Forward. This role will play a key leadership role in driving the strategy and success of multiple connected projects driving sustainable improvements across our financial processes and capabilities to scale for future growth, encompassing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting as well as analytical reviews. This role will interface with the finance leadership team in creating and implementing change management strategies within the organization. They will work to ensure future projects are tied to advancing finance strategy while inspiring, driving, and supporting continuous improvement. The Operation Lead will oversee the management reporting, business process function and automation for our JLL business.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of AR, AP, and Quality Assurance workstreams.
  • Develop and coordinate the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads and executives.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, identifying areas of variance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide insightful analysis on financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, profitability, and growth.
  • Stand up and monitor governance structures for multiple projects and processes.
  • Serve as a change agent and provide guidance in the implementation of process change related to the management of various workstreams.
  • Support problem-solving and resolution to roadblocks; manage escalations.
  • Apply solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial analyses with little guidance and draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results, and drive improvements.
  • Create effective business partnership, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations.
  • Identify the need for improved controls to address risk driven by accounts and proactively propose control solutions.
  • Design and perform audit programs that adequately evaluate the effectiveness of controls, compliance to established policies and procedures and MSAs.
  • Review and assess critical Items, client billings and cash management processes.
  • Conduct and lead peer reviews, define scope and schedule, and manage overall program.

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or higher in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
  • CPA or CA preferred.
  • 12-15 years related experience, working in a large, complex, global public company.
  • Experience with US GAAP a plus.
  • Demonstrated project & time management skills and a willingness to learn and adapt, with the highest standards of behavior, collaborative manner and work ethic.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive and influence change without authority.
  • Experience using information technology as it applies to finance to drive performance and productivity enhancements.
  • Excellent proficiency in financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software) and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
  • Good team player, independent and able to work under tight timelines.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; skilled at problem-solving to meet internal customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs; proven ability to work through roadblocks; demonstrated critical thinking skills; analytical and process driven.
  • Self-starter and quick learner, willing to delve deeply into details.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to develop and maintain relationships on all levels within the organization.
