Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for an CIA Admin . This position is part of the new Operations Information Technology / Operations Technology organization specifically in the Engineer and Build team.
The Business Process Expertise Specialist serves as an Operations IT/OT global subject matter expert providing first- and second-level management, support of a defined set of global processes, procedures, and I/T applications, tools and systems aligned with Operations IT/OT Process Engineering discipline and the Engineer and Build business process areas of the Equipment Digital Thread. This role Leads technical and work process support and oversight to enable adoption and use of corporate, best-in-class processes and applications by end users across all businesses and at all sites. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, along with specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process to perform a broad range of complex work assignments. Leads and executes tasks and activities aligned to the high-level Operations ITOT strategy along with technology discipline and/or business process multi-generation plans to support optimal capability of processes, procedures, and related IT solutions. Supports Operations and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic technical, work process, and management system improvements within the corporate MET1 Operations IT/OT solution portfolio.
General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all data is made available to ConstructSim (CSIM) / Work Package Server (WPS) in the correct format and structure in a timely manner as required by the project implementation timeline.
  • Perform data processing updates, status updates upon receipt of new or updated information from data providers, which includes nested Engineering, EPC, and 3rd party inputs.
  • Supports the data type source modification and/or new configurations that may be needed during the project.
  • New project creation and configuration
  • WPS & Executive admin activity
    • User Management
    • Data uploading and importing
    • Validating and fixing data processing errors
    • Validating the Executive configuration (XML, attributes etc.)
  • End to End (E2E) processing and validation, fixing E2E processing errors and creating Virtual Construction Model (VCM)
  • Resolving WFP issues and concern related to all data (CAD data, Material & Procurement deliverables)
  • Configuring the batch for VUE files extraction

Must have:

  • Technical or bachelor’s degree in Computer, Construction or Engineering related discipline
  • Knowledge about construction industry work processes and/or technology such as Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and 3D Modeling.
  • Must be self-driven, eager to learn new things and be a team player
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal) and use of communication tools (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understand data management tools (Excel, databases) and have some basic knowledge of data formats, data attributions, and data consistency best practices

Preferred (not mandatory requirement):
  • Knowledge about construction industry work processes and/or technology such as Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), Workface Planning (WFP), Materials Management, Bentley ConstructSim (CSIM), Work Package Server (WPS), 3D Modeling, and Primavera P6.
  • Software skills such as SQL database experience, .NET, VBA and understanding of database structure, security, roles, reports, etc.
  • Seeking candidates with 2-6 years’ experience
