About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Plan and schedule logistics services for domestic on-time deliveries as per requirement
2. Provide follow-up and expediting as necessary to assure the best price, quality, and delivery is obtained
3. Negotiate blanket/contract agreements whenever possible and onboard new clients
4. Provide purchasing-related information and support to the company as needed
5. Support continuous improvement activities
6. Coordinate and monitor end-to-end logistics operations
7. Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
8. Work on occasional cash handling
9. Handle the billing cycle of the organization
10. Coordinate for accounts & finance regarding the company account audit
11. On-board new vehicles to existing clients
12. On-board new potential clients and assign new vehicles

Additional Information

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 3 to 4 Lac/annum

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (? 1000 per per vehicle added).
