About the Role

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of MCO's physical workplace in Hyderabad. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations including maintenance, security, housekeeping, and administrative support, while also driving strategic initiatives such as office transitions, vendor management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will act as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners to deliver a high-quality employee experience, maintain infrastructure reliability, and support business continuity. This position requires a proactive, service-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is capable of balancing operational excellence with long-term facilities planning and cost optimization.
Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of new office transitions, including setup, space activation, stakeholder communication, and relocation logistics.
Oversee daily operations of facility services
Liaison with industry bodies such as HYSEA and NASSCOM on behalf of MCO
Foster a positive, safe, and efficient work environment with a hospitality mindset and proactive issue resolution.
Manage vendor contracts, procurement activities, budget planning, and cost optimization for all facilities-related services.
Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations and corporate safety protocols including fire safety, emergency preparedness, and landlord compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless facilities and property operations.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure uninterrupted support for critical infrastructure.
Optimize space utilization, inventory tracking, infrastructure performance, and energy efficiency through continuous monitoring and reporting.
Support business continuity planning and resiliency initiatives, including incident management and root cause analysis.
Lead administrative support processes including travel and accommodation management
Ensure compliance with STPI and SEZ regulations across all facility operations.
Experiences and Skills

5-8 years of experience in facilities, administration, or project management roles within IT, ITES, or software-driven organizations.
Bachelor's degree is required with a preference for postgraduate qualifications in business, facilities, or operations management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of facility management systems being an advantage.
Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and statutory compliance, including STPI and SEZ regulations in Telangana.
Demonstrated leadership in managing facility teams, vendors, and medium-scale office projects.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to plan and prioritize under pressure.
Experience in handling emergency preparedness and disaster recovery activities.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
