Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate import/export operations for both air and ocean freight (FCL & LCL), ensuring timely shipments and accurate documentation. Handle customs clearance documentation and liaise with customs authorities and shipping liners. Manage logistics across trade lanes, including the U.S.-Middle East trade lane, weekly consolidations, and cross-trade services Skyocean Logistics. Collaborate with inland transport providers, warehouse teams, and couriers to ensure seamless cargo handling. Track cargo status and produce regular performance reports and KPIs. Assist customers with compliance issues related to ports, airports, and handling of dangerous or perishable goods Skyocean Logistics. Help resolve operational challenges promptly and efficiently. Support implementation of new tools or process improvements to enhance operational workflows. Maintain organized documentation, such as SOPs, shipment records, and invoices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in operations roles, preferably in UAE-based logistics or freight forwarding UAE AdviseLiveuaeJobs. Knowledge of FCL/LCL freight, customs procedures, and documentation. Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP or transportation management systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Understanding of regulatory compliance, including handling of dangerous goods, perishable items, or oversized freight.

Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with the GCC and India logistics markets. Experience in managing U.S.-Middle East trade lanes. Exposure to special cargo categories like dangerous goods, exhibition freight, or project cargo.
