To ensure accurate, timely, and actionable management information for effective decision-making, statutory compliance, and operational control across the credit society.
Key Responsibilities
1. MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports covering:
Loans & advances (disbursement, recovery, overdue, NPA)
Deposits (savings, term deposits, renewals, maturities)
Branch-wise and product-wise performance
Generate dashboards for senior management and Board reviews.
Ensure consistency of data across systems and reports.
2. Data Management & Accuracy
Collate data from core banking / loan management systems and branches.
Validate data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure audit readiness.
Maintain historical MIS records and trend analysis.
3. Regulatory & Compliance Support
Support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements as per:
Registrar of Cooperative Societies
NABARD / RBI (as applicable)
Assist internal and external auditors with required data and reports.
4. Process & System Support
Coordinate with IT/vendors for system reports and enhancements.
Standardize MIS formats and reporting timelines across branches.
Support automation initiatives to reduce manual reporting.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Credit, Recovery, Finance, and Branch Operations teams.
Provide data insights to improve credit quality, recovery efficiency, and operational productivity.

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Working knowledge of CBS / loan management systems
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work with large datasets and multiple stakeholders
Strong time management and reporting discipline
Educational Qualification
Graduate in Commerce
Experience
1-2 years of MIS experience in:
Credit Society / Cooperative Bank / NBFC / Financial Services
Prior exposure to audit and regulatory reporting is desirable
