Job Summary:
As an
Operations Executive
, you will be trained in the key operational processes of freight forwarding, including documentation, shipment coordination, and client communication. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in shipping and logistics, with hands-on exposure to real-time freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in handling day-to-day freight forwarding operations for both import and export shipments (Air & Sea).
Support the preparation and processing of shipping documentation such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Shipping Instructions.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs brokers.
Track shipments and update customers and internal systems on status and delivery schedules.
Liaise with clients and overseas agents for smooth execution of shipments.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company SOPs.
Help maintain accurate records of all shipments and operational activities.
Support the operations team with data entry, document filing, and report generation.
Participate in continuous learning and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Graduate study of any discipline from any recognized university preferably from business/Marketing
Good English communications skills, other languages will be a plus.
Intensive IT skills and ability to manage and organize amounts of complex data
Full knowledge of supply chain processes and operations
Full knowledge of Port and Customs Regulations.
Good Knowledge of shipping services/ products, terms and practices
Ability to work under pressure.
Highly motivated and target driven.
Has strong knowledge of Container/Shipping Line (products and services).
Excellent organization, planning and communication skills.
Experience - 1 plus years, Senior Ladies Preferred
