Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
- Manage On-site exhibition/events operations.
- Controlling all on-site-related activity and infrastructures ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, achievement of deadlines, compliance with Health & Safety regulations and full budget control.
- Project planning & scheduling.
- create and monitor exhibition and project schedules to ensure key deadlines are met.
- Understanding of custom-based exhibition stands, approved stand designs, floorplans & exhibitor manuals.
- Management of staff (onsite & pre-show).
- Regular liaising with suppliers & exhibitors.
- Work with the selected third-party vendors and partners to ensure smooth delivery of the series of exhibitions organized in the respective location.
- Manage contracts, budget management & negotiation with suppliers.
- Post exhibition reporting and analysis.
Note - This role will involve travel (site inspections & on-site exhibition-related organization and operations) and will have staff management responsibilities.
Candidate Profile:
- Confident and out-going exhibitions industry professional with a minimum of 1 years of experience in exhibition or event operations.
- Qualification -Graduate from a relevant stream from an institute of repute.
- Organised and self-motivated individual with strong negotiation and decision.
making skills.
- Must have prior knowledge of the exhibitions industry, major venues, and key contractors and be able to read and understand technical floorplans and stand drawings.
- Should be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines and be a confident team player with a creative and innovative approach.
- Good communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills; diplomatic attitude.
- Open to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during installation periods.
- Responsible for planning & organize exhibitions from concept to execution, presentations, media plan/ vendor management/ buyer promotion/ production & logistics.
