Job Summary:
This pivotal role serves as the bridge between operational excellence and strategic performance within the India Supply Chain. The role is central to driving data-driven decision-making, financial planning, and continuous process optimization, all while ensuring alignment with both local and global SCM objectives. The position offers hands-on leadership in shaping supply chain performance through innovation, collaboration, and actionable strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Operational Efficiency
Annual Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the manufacturing budgeting process, including Opex, Capex, and production metrics. Set clear performance targets and monitor progress throughout the year.
Cost Optimization: Analyze cost structures, and identify opportunities for operational improvements and process optimization, ensuring cost-efficiency.
Process Improvement: Drive and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance cost optimization across the supply chain, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Data-Driven Decision Support
Performance Dashboards & Analytics: Develop and manage real-time performance dashboards and reporting tools to track key metrics, providing leadership with actionable insights that drive operational improvements.
Strategic Insights: Deliver data-driven insights using scenario modeling, trend analysis, and financial forecasting to ensure supply chain strategies align with broader business goals and priorities.
Internal SCM Synergies: Act as the central point of coordination for aligning the sub-departments of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function (e.g., Manufacturing, Planning, Costing, Quality, and Logistics). This involves optimizing workflows, improving communication, and ensuring a cohesive approach to supply chain operations.
Cross-Functional Synergies: Once internal SCM synergies are established, extend this alignment cross-functionally with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Work collaboratively to ensure that supply chain strategies support broader organizational goals and objectives, driving shared success across teams.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior management and cross-functional business leaders to provide valuable insights and guidance for key supply chain decisions, ensuring alignment and execution of strategic goals.
4. Innovation & Digital Transformation
Tool Adoption & Automation: Lead the adoption of advanced digital tools and systems (e.g., Power BI, Oracle, MS Dynamics) to enable a data-driven culture and improve decision-making processes across the supply chain.
Innovation Leadership: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by introducing innovative practices, automation, and advanced analytical tools to optimize supply chain operations and drive operational efficiency.
5. Leadership & Strategic Reporting
Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present high-level operational and financial reports, including monthly business reviews (MBRs), performance summaries, and strategic presentations for leadership teams.
Factory Profiling & Optimization: Conduct regular assessments of manufacturing facilities to ensure operational alignment with regional and global supply chain strategies. Drive factory optimization to achieve greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Job Requirement
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, Data Analytics, data science certification) will have additional advantage.
Experience & Expertise:
Proven experience in supply chain management, budgeting, financial analysis, and process optimization within a manufacturing or operations environment.
Strong background in cross-functional collaboration and using data to drive strategic business decisions.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions), PowerPoint, and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is advantageous.

Strong ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable business strategies.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data clearly and effectively to senior leadership.
