Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements. Your typical day will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations. You will also engage in planning and executing maintenance activities, ensuring that all systems are running optimally and in compliance with established protocols. Your role will require you to be proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to enhance system reliability and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor system performance metrics and implement improvements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration, Database Architecture, Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries. - Strong understanding of backup and recovery strategies for SQL Server. - Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions and their management. - Ability to implement security measures for database systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
