Summary: Looking for an experienced Oracle PCA/Linux SME having deep technical expertise in Oracle Private Cloud Appliance and ZFS storage solutions. This role requires hands-on experience managing compute, networking and storage layers in enterprise environment ensuring performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless service delivery, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance system performance and reliability. You will engage in proactive monitoring and maintenance of systems, ensuring that all operational standards are met and exceeded, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an Oracle Linux/Oracle PCA SME. Strong experience in data center operations, hardware management, and enterprise networking. Very Good Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Linux environments. Very Good Experience with virtualization technologies, specifically Oracle VM. Familiarity with OCI concepts, APIs, and tools is highly beneficial. Skills in using command-line interfaces (CLI) (e.g., pca-admin) and graphical user interfaces for system management. Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python scripts for updates) is a plus. Collaborate with Application, Middleware & Database team for seamless integration. Professional & Technical Skills: -Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Linux Administration & Oracle PCA Administration - Design, Configure and Support Oracle PCA infrastructure including compute nodes, storage and networking. - Good To Have Skills: Very Good Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration. - Strong understanding of Oracle PCA X9-2 system architecture and administration. - Administer and Optimize Oracle ZFS storage appliance for performance and reliability -- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages. Automate VM provisioning, Configuration and deployment using scripting Tools. -Familiar with monitoring tools such as OEM, Grafana, etc. - Solid grasp of performance tuning and troubleshooting methodologies. Very Good exposure to ITIL Service Management Process. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Enterprise Linux Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
