Our OCs work proactively with the customer to ensure timely delivery of goods, acceptance at the customer end and prompt release of payment. The job of the OC will entail coordination with all departments, including Logistics, Accounts, Sales and with the OEM. The job of a OC comprises of the below activities:
Providing excellent customer service (details given below)
Ensuring timely delivery of goods to the customer
Coordinating with the transporter for resolution of issues
Ensuring prompt acceptance of goods by customers through regular follow up vide phone and email
Getting payments released by regular follow ups
Developing professional relationships with customers for repeat business
Updating catalogues on GEM every week to avoid expiry
Updating prices on GEM every week to ensure L1 position
Uploading new catalogues on GEM
Following up with OEM/Manufacturers for documents/data required for offer submission
Maintaining records such as Order Status, Payment Status, Upcoming Bids, Pending Bids,
Active Catalogues etc
A OC is expected to be efficient and consistent at providing excellent customer service. Customer
Service includes -
Assisting customers in placing orders
Proactively providing updates to the customer regarding order status and delivery
Coordinating with the Logistics Service Provider for timely delivery
Resolving issues related to Logistics, Paperwork etc for smooth acceptance of goods
Helping customer understand the product and verify its functioning
Coordinating with Service Team for installation of goods (wherever applicable)
Providing any documents required for payment processing
Resolving any other queries raised by the customer
