Who we are looking for

State Street’s Global Markets division (SSGM) is looking for a candidate with 5 to 6 years of experience in Client Onboarding/Collateral Static Set-up/Credit Limit Application/CSA Set-up. Knowledge of Variation Margin CSA and Initial Margin CSA would be an added advantage.

The team that you will be joining is a part of SSGM’s Client Service Solutions focused on servicing Sales and Trading clients. When owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to SSGM business unit. As our investment research and trading arm, SSGM’s number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.

What you will be responsible for

  • Setting-up the accounts with CSA (such as Variation Margin & Initial Margin CSA agreements as per the Margin rules) in State Street’s Collateral platform
  • Manage Credit Structures for new and existing FX accounts in State Street’s in-house systems
  • Determine the best course of action to establish trading/credit limits
  • Work with credit approvers to secure limits
  • Update State Street’s risk systems
  • Identify unique counterparty structures and escalate for resolution
  • Maintain static data across multiple platforms
  • Respond to queries regarding the status of specific requests or new clients in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, credit, legal and operations when the required credit/collateral documents are not available at the time of account set-up
  • Track and monitor potential issues and delays
  • Oversee two different teams each dedicated to a specialized support function (Collateral and Credit System Set-up) and serve as the initial point of escalation
  • Resolve and escalate issues proactively and in a timely manner

Help monitor KPIs to ensure a high level of service
  • Evaluate and enhance processes and procedures on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate Internal and External Audit and Compliance reviews
  • Coordinate system access and access reviews
  • Maintain and continuously develop knowledge around core products of business unit and key applications in use by the business unit

What we value
Skills & Knowledge
  • Prior Client Onboarding/Collateral Static Set-up/CSA Set-up/Credit Limit Application and team management experience would be a plus
  • Knowledge of Variation Margin and Initial Margin CSA would be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written forms

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • M.Com/MBA in Finance
