Group: The opening is with Morningstar Product Operations

Our mission is to serve our products and services to licensed clients. The individual in this group supports various products like Morningstar Publishing System, Media, Morningstar Direct & Data Products. This group has to make sure client-subscribed deliverables should be delivered to them precisely as defined in the SLA. Address any client queries promptly and provide the solution.

Role:

Morningstar Product Operations seeks an intelligent and creative professional for its operations team. The primary function of the team is to take care of contractual deliverables designated for Morningstar\xe2\x80\x99s clients & product support.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the team that owns and executes the production processes for global clients on the Morningstar Publishing System, Media and some of the other internal applications. Develop a thorough ownership and understanding of the product, process, and the clients one serves.

• Assure the quality of the incoming and outgoing data to the Morningstar Publishing System. Work with external and internal project stakeholders to ensure the content of the produced publications match the expected requirements.
• Work on preparing various reports on Morningstar Direct.
• Work closely with the data teams globally to coordinate and assist with ensuring data availability for our live clients.
• Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and reducing operational risk through the automation of operational tasks and/or improvement of existing processes.
• Keep documentation of the data processes up to date, and proactively ensure that the operation risks are kept at a minimum.
• Work closely with the technology team to assist with new feature releases in the software product.
• Kindly note shifts will be rotational and as per business requirement

Requirements:

• Demonstrate a significant degree of experience in project and implementation management with the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of its lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of various other financial products available in domestic as well as in International financial markets.
• Ability to comprehend basics of investing.
• Good Understanding of financial ratios.
• Should be well versed with the basic knowledge financial terms and financial concepts.
• A proven track record of managing client projects with contractual timelines and scope.
• Aptitude to learn new software and technical concepts
• Knowledge of Morningstar Direct basics will be a value add.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with both local and international stakeholders including the capabilities to develop rapport and establish trust.
• Ease in dealing with ambiguity; ability to create focus and keep the team on track.
• Educated to degree level, an advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum 2 + years of experience in Finance domain (Mutual Fund/Capital Market).
