About the Company

We are a boutique interior design and fabrication studio known for our creative, bespoke projects. As our workload grows, we're looking for a versatile professional to bring structure to our daily operations and oversee our financial activities.

Role Summary

The Operations & Accounts Manager will ensure smooth day?to?day operations while managing the studio's finances and vendor relationships. This pivotal role touches every part of the business--from coordinating projects and streamlining workflows to tracking budgets, processing invoices and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

Oversee daily studio operations; coordinate with designers, site teams and vendors to ensure projects run on schedule and resources are used efficiently.

Process Optimization:

Identify and fix inefficiencies; implement systems to improve productivity and reduce bottlenecks.

Financial Management:

Maintain financial records; prepare and submit client invoices; manage accounts receivable/payable and payroll; track monthly expenses; assist with budgeting and variance analysis.

Vendor & Contract Management:

Handle vendor communications and negotiations; track orders; manage client contracts from initiation through completion, monitoring expenditures and timelines.

Reporting & Compliance:

Work with our accountant on bank reconciliations and tax filings; generate basic financial reports for management; ensure regulatory compliance.

Administrative Support:

Oversee office supplies and general administration; support HR processes (e.g., onboarding, attendance tracking) as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in operations and financial management, preferably in a design, construction or creative environment. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Odoo, Tally, QuickBooks) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable processes. Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate teams and liaise effectively with vendors and clients. Detail?oriented, organized and able to prioritize in a fast?paced environment. Familiarity with interior design or construction workflows is an advantage but not required.
