Role Overview



The

Operational Manager

will be responsible for

overseeing daily business operations

, ensuring smooth coordination between production, warehouse, outlets, sales teams, and customers. This is a leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-growing, hands-on environment and wants to help build systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee end-to-end daily operations across production, warehouse, retail outlets, and events. Plan and monitor stock levels, dispatch schedules, and logistics to ensure timely availability of products. Develop and implement efficient

SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

for smooth functioning. Manage staff discipline, attendance, and performance across departments. Coordinate between sales, accounts, and warehouse teams for accurate reporting and communication. Track sales, wastage, and stock movement daily and ensure proper documentation. Identify operational gaps and implement practical solutions quickly. Support new outlet setups, exhibitions, and wedding/event operations. Ensure hygiene, compliance, and quality standards are consistently maintained. Report directly to the business owner/founder with regular updates and performance metrics.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Highly organized and process-driven

-- able to create structure from zero. Tech-savvy: Comfortable with WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets, POS systems, and business apps. Proactive problem solver with strong accountability. Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and manage people effectively. Knowledge of food products, retail, or FMCG operations is a plus.

Qualifications



Graduate in Business, Operations, or relevant field. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in

retail / FMCG / food business operations / store management

. Candidates with startup or ground-level setup experience will be preferred.

Compensation



Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ?35,000 per month (based on experience) Performance-based incentives and growth-linked bonuses.
