Job Title:

OT Technician (Diploma)

Qualification:

Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology / OT Technician Course from a recognized institution Valid registration (if applicable) Basic knowledge of hospital infection control protocols

/ Responsibilities:

Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries by arranging instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures. Ensure proper sterilization of surgical instruments and OT equipment as per standard protocols. Maintain aseptic conditions in the operation theatre at all times. Handle, operate, and maintain OT equipment such as anesthesia machines, suction units, monitors, etc. Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery. Follow safety, infection control, and biomedical waste management guidelines. Maintain OT records, instrument counts, and equipment logs. Report equipment malfunction or shortages to the OT in-charge or supervisor. Assist in post-operative procedures and cleaning of the OT. Be available for emergency surgeries and follow duty rosters as assigned.

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures Understanding of sterilization and infection control practices Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and discipline

Experience:

Freshers or Experience candidates with relevant OT experience may apply
