Mahajan Eye Centre is looking for a dedicated and skilled
OT Technician
to support our surgical team in delivering high-quality eye care. The role involves assisting in ophthalmic surgeries, maintaining OT sterility, and ensuring smooth and efficient OT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the Operation Theatre before, during, and after surgeries
Assist surgeons and nursing staff during ophthalmic procedures (Cataract, Refractive, etc.)
Handle, clean, sterilize, and arrange surgical instruments and OT equipment
Ensure strict adherence to OT protocols, infection control, and safety standards
Maintain OT records, checklists, and inventory of surgical consumables
Assist in patient shifting, positioning, and preparation for surgery
Ensure proper functioning of OT machines and immediately report any technical issues
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and OT staff for smooth workflow
Required Qualifications
Diploma / Certificate in OT Technician or Operation Theatre Technology
Experience in
Eye Hospital / Ophthalmic OT
will be preferred
Sound knowledge of sterilization techniques and OT procedures
Experience
Minimum
1-3 years
of OT experience
Trained freshers may also apply
