Job Description

Role Objective -

To Prepare and maintain OT, ensure sterilization of instruments, assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures, handle OT equipment, manage OT inventory, ensure BMW disposal and follow hospital infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Operative Responsibilities

Prepare OT for scheduled surgeries (Orthopaedic, General Surgery, Gynecology, etc.). Ensure proper sterilization of instruments, linen, and consumables. Check and arrange OT equipment Verify surgical checklists, consent forms, and implants availability.

Intra-Operative Responsibilities

Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures. Handle surgical instruments, implants and equipment efficiently. Maintain aseptic techniques throughout surgery. Monitor equipment functioning and report malfunctions immediately.

Post-Operative Responsibilities

Assist in shifting patients to recovery room/ICU. Clean and fumigate OT as per infection control protocols. Ensure proper segregation and disposal of biomedical waste.

Equipment & Inventory Management

Maintain OT inventory, implants, sutures, and consumables. Coordinate with CSSD for sterilization cycles. Maintain logbooks for sterilization, equipment usage, and maintenance. Assist in AMC coordination and preventive maintenance.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / Degree in OT Technology from a recognized institute. (Preferred) 2-4 years of experience in a hospital OT setup. Exposure to Orthopaedic and General Surgery (Preferred)

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
