Job Description

Pre-Operative (Before Surgery)

Patient Preparation

: Receive patients, verify details, prepare the surgical site, and provide emotional support.

Room & Equipment

: Stock, sterilize, and set up the operating room with instruments, linens, and supplies.

Team Coordination

: Coordinate with wards, ICU, and CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) for patient transfers and sterile supplies.

Intra-Operative (During Surgery)

Patient Monitoring

: Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Surgical Assistance

: Provide instruments (as scrub nurse) or supplies (as circulating nurse) to the surgeon, maintain the sterile field, and manage counts.

Documentation

: Accurately record sponge, needle, and instrument counts.

Post-Operative (After Surgery)

Patient Recovery

: Transfer patients to recovery, provide immediate post-op care, and give care instructions.

Room Turnover

: Clean the operating room, dispose of waste, and prepare for the next surgery.

Record Keeping

: Complete all patient charts and surgical documentation.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
