Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations Management
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operational activities
Ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of assigned tasks
Monitor productivity and efficiency of staff and labour
2. Workforce & Labour Supervision
Supervise workers, helpers, loaders, drivers & ensure discipline, punctuality, and proper conduct at the workplace
Address minor grievances and report major issues to management
3. Inventory & Material Handling
Monitor receipt, storage, and issue of materials/products
Ensure proper handling of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, or other stock
Prevent wastage, damage, and pilferage of materials
Coordinate with Operation Manager for stock records and physical verification
4. Quality & Process Control
Ensure work is carried out as per company standards and SOPs
Monitor quality of operations, packing, loading, and dispatch
5. Safety & Compliance
Ensure safety procedures are followed at the workplace
Monitor use of safety equipment and safe handling practices
Follow statutory and company compliance related to labour and operations
Report accidents, near-miss incidents, or unsafe conditions
6. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with Operations Manager, HR, Accounts, and Logistics teams
Communicate daily work status and operational issues to seniors
Assist in planning manpower and material requirements
7. Dispatch & Logistics Support
Supervise loading, unloading, and dispatch activities
Ensure correct quantity and documentation during dispatch
Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely delivery
8. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain records related to labour, stock movement, and work output
Assist management during audits or inspections
9. Equipment & Asset Monitoring
Monitor usage and basic maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment
Report breakdowns and coordinate repairs
Qualification:
Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (Operations / Agriculture preferred)
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in operations, warehouse, or field supervision
Experience in agriculture, seeds, fertilizers, or trading industry is an advantage
