Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Operations Manager

to oversee the end-to-end operations of our Dive Centre in Lakshadweep. The ideal candidate should have strong operational leadership, a background in

hospitality or tourism

, and the ability to manage teams while delivering exceptional guest experiences in an island environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Oversee daily dive centre activities and operations Plan and manage dive schedules and daily workflows Ensure smooth and efficient operational functioning

Team Management

Supervise dive instructors, dive masters, and support staff Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance Ensure staff coordination, discipline, and performance

Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to diving safety standards and SOPs Comply with local authority, environmental, and maritime regulations Monitor safety procedures and emergency preparedness

Guest Experience

Manage guest interactions and service quality Handle guest feedback, complaints, and issue resolution Maintain high customer satisfaction standards

Booking & Coordination

Manage bookings, enquiries, and scheduling Coordinate with hospitality, transport, and logistics teams Ensure seamless guest movement and activity planning

Equipment & Inventory

Oversee dive equipment usage, maintenance, and inventory Ensure equipment readiness and safety compliance

Reporting & Administration

Maintain operational records and documentation Submit regular reports to management Support budgeting and operational planning

Qualification

MBA in Marketing or Tourism

(mandatory)

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience

in hospitality, tourism, or adventure tourism operations. Prior experience in a dive centre, water sports, or island tourism environment is an added advantage.

English, Hindi
