: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor bakers and staff; foster a positive, productive culture.
Quality & Safety
: Enforce food safety, hygiene (HACCP/GMP), and quality standards (taste, presentation, consistency) for all products.
Inventory & Supply Chain
: Manage ingredient stock, order supplies, minimize waste, and control costs.
Financial Oversight
: Monitor budgets, control labor/inventory costs, and analyze sales to ensure profitability.
Process Improvement
: Identify inefficiencies, implement new techniques, and improve overall operational performance.
Compliance
: Ensure adherence to FDA, OSHA, and company policies.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of bakery production, machinery, and food safety.
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage in a fast-paced, demanding environment, potentially requiring weekend/late shifts.
Experience in food & beverage management, often with a relevant degree or diploma.
