This role requires managing front desk operations for a busy dental and dermatology clinic while actively converting inquiries into booked clients through persuasive communication and upselling services.
Key Responsibilities
Conversion of patients on desk, social media, through references.
Upsell Dental procedures.
Upsell Dermatology procedures.
Greet patients warmly, handle check-ins/check-outs, and maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
Schedule, confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments using clinic software; send reminders to reduce no-shows.
Answer phones, emails, and inquiries professionally, identifying client needs to convert leads into appointments by explaining treatment benefits.
Upsell dental procedures (e.g., whitening, implants)
derma services (e.g., facials, lasers) during interactions to boost revenue.
Update patient records, process payments, verify insurance, and manage billing accurately.
Coordinate with dentists, dermatologists, and staff for smooth patient flow and inventory management.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in related field preferred.
1-2 years experience as a receptionist in dental, derma, or clinic setting; sales/customer service background a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel, clinic management software, and basic accounting.?
Essential Skills
Excellent verbal/written communication and active listening to build rapport and overcome objections.
Strong sales orientation: ability to upsell services ethically and convert inquiries (e.g., symptom discussions into bookings).
Multitasking, empathy, and a positive demeanour in a fast-paced environment.
