Technology management:
Evaluate, implement, and manage the legal department's technology stack, including document management systems, e-billing software, and legal research tools.
Financial and budget management:
Oversee the legal department's budget, track expenses, analyze expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Project and vendor management:
Manage legal projects to ensure timely completion, manage resources, and oversee relationships with external vendors and law firms.
Data analytics and reporting:
Analyze operational data to provide insights and report on the department's performance and efficiency.
Cross-departmental coordination:
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.
Compliance and risk management:
Support the legal team with compliance and risk management activities.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
Develop and implement DEI goals for the legal team and its external partners.
