About the Role

Prasad Multi Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and performance-driven

Rental Operation Manager

to lead and streamline our rental machinery operations across India. This role is critical in managing fleet deployment, coordinating site operations, ensuring service efficiency, and driving customer satisfaction in our flagship equipment rental division.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end rental operations of construction equipment (excavators, cranes, boom placers, concrete pumps, batching plants, etc.) Plan and allocate machinery, operators, and logistics across multiple project sites Monitor machine utilization, downtime, preventive maintenance, and availability Coordinate with sales, service, logistics, and technical teams for seamless execution Ensure on-time mobilization/demobilization of equipment and adherence to project timelines Maintain real-time tracking and reporting of fleet performance using CMMS or ERP tools Lead a team of site managers, technicians, and dispatch staff to meet rental KPIs Liaise with clients for schedule coordination, approvals, and feedback resolution Ensure all operations comply with safety, quality, and maintenance standards Analyze operational data to optimize cost, fuel usage, maintenance, and ROI

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Civil Engineering or equivalent 10-12 years of experience in equipment rental, construction logistics, or heavy machinery operations Strong understanding of construction equipment types, capacity planning, and maintenance cycles Proficiency in Excel, equipment tracking systems, and operational dashboards Leadership skills to manage field teams, drivers, mechanics, and client interactions Willingness to travel to project sites across India as needed Ability to work under pressure with multiple stakeholders

Preferred

Prior experience in infrastructure companies, rental firms, or EPC projects Familiarity with CMMS tools (like ORECS or other fleet management software) PMP or operations/supply chain certifications

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
