Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the hospital to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimal utilization of resources. The role involves coordination across clinical and non-clinical departments to maintain smooth hospital operations.

Note: This position is designated for a female candidate as per organizational or statutory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

Oversee daily hospital operations including OPD, IPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, housekeeping, security, and support services. Ensure smooth patient flow, minimal waiting times, and efficient service delivery. Monitor operational KPIs and implement improvement initiatives.
Staff Coordination & Management

Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, paramedical and administrative teams. Support workforce planning, duty rosters, leave management, and performance monitoring. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, and code of conduct.
Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI (if applicable), government health regulations, and internal quality standards. Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes. Handle patient feedback, grievances, and service recovery.
Financial & Resource Management

Assist in budgeting, cost control, and operational expense monitoring. Ensure optimal utilization of hospital resources, equipment, and consumables. Coordinate with procurement and stores for inventory management.
Patient Experience

Maintain high standards of patient care and hospitality. Address patient complaints and ensure timely resolution. Promote patient-centric practices across departments.
Coordination & Reporting

Prepare and submit operational reports to hospital leadership. Participate in management meetings and strategic planning discussions. Liaise with vendors, service providers, and external agencies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Business Administration

Master's degree (MHA / MBA - Hospital Management)
