About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Operations Head
to lead and control the execution of
infrastructure and building construction projects
. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered
on time, within budget, and as per quality and safety standards
, while coordinating closely with commercial, finance, and procurement teams.
This position is ideal for a senior civil engineering professional who has managed
multiple projects simultaneously
and can translate plans and budgets into disciplined on-ground execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of infrastructure and building projects
Convert approved estimates and budgets into execution plans
Manage Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors
Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource utilization
Ensure adherence to approved schedules, drawings, and specifications
Coordinate with Commercial & Cost Control for budget compliance
Identify execution risks and implement mitigation measures
Ensure quality control and minimize rework
Enforce safety standards and statutory compliance at all sites
Act as the execution interface with clients, consultants, and PMCs
Submit structured weekly and monthly progress reports to management
Authority & Accountability
Authorized to manage day-to-day execution and resource deployment
Responsible for operational efficiency and delivery performance
Budget, rate, and scope changes require management approval

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management / Project Management preferred
(MBA in Construction Management, NICMAR, RICS, or equivalent)
10-15+ years of relevant experience in civil construction execution
Proven experience in handling both infrastructure and building projects
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and sites simultaneously
Strong understanding of:
Construction planning and scheduling
Project execution methodologies
Cost control and budget adherence
Contractual and coordination aspects of construction projects
