The Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the hospital by supervising housekeeping operations, managing vendors, assisting in HR and recruitment activities, and supporting all administrative and operational tasks. The role requires strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to maintain high standards of hospital service and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Administration
Oversee daily hospital operations to ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical teams for operational requirements.
Monitor facility maintenance, safety, and cleanliness standards.
Handle patient service concerns by coordinating with respective departments.
2. Housekeeping Supervision
Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure all areas of the hospital are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
Prepare duty rosters and ensure timely deployment of housekeeping staff.
Conduct regular inspections of wards, OPD, ICU, waiting areas, washrooms, etc.
Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
3. Vendor Management
Coordinate with all external vendors for housekeeping, security, biomedical waste, maintenance, medical supplies, etc.
Maintain vendor contracts, renewals, and documentation.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely service delivery.
Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments after verification.
4. Recruitment & HR Assistance
Support HR department in recruitment activities such as job posting, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
Maintain employee attendance, joining documents, and personnel files.
Assist in coordinating training, performance evaluations, and grievance handling.
Help implement HR policies across departments.
5. Inventory & Material Management
Maintain stock records of housekeeping materials and hospital consumables.
Ensure timely requisition and availability of required supplies.
6. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and operational SOPs.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management review.
Support in NABH / quality audits and documentation.
