The Operations Executive - Air Ambulance is responsible for coordinating and managing end-to-end air ambulance missions, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient patient transfers. This role involves close coordination with medical teams, aviation partners, hospitals, airports, and ground ambulance providers while maintaining high standards of operational excellence and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Mission Coordination
Plan and execute domestic and international air ambulance missions from request to completion
Coordinate with pilots, aircraft operators, medical crew, and ground ambulance services
Monitor flight schedules, weather conditions, and regulatory requirements
Receive Calls and address all the Air Ambulance queries
Medical & Hospital Coordination
Liaise with hospitals, doctors, and medical staff for patient details and transfer requirements
Ensure availability of required medical equipment and onboard medical setup
Coordinate bed-to-bed patient transfers
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and manage flight permissions, overflight and landing permits, visas, and customs documentation
Maintain accurate mission logs, reports, and records in internal software.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for patients' families, hospitals, and corporate clients
Provide regular mission updates and handle urgent queries professionally
Operations Control
Monitor missions in real time and manage contingencies or emergencies
Ensure cost-effective operations without compromising safety or care quality
Support 24/7 operations on a rotational or on-call basis
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Graduate in Aviation Management, Hospital Administration, Logistics, Operations, or related field
Relevant certifications in aviation or healthcare operations are an advantage
Any Graduate can be considered
Experience
1-4 years of experience in aviation operations, air ambulance, emergency medical services, or logistics
Experience in international operations
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication skills (English Hindi mandatory)
Ability to work under pressure and manage time-critical situations
Good understanding of aviation and medical operations
Proficiency in MS Office and operations management tools
Working Conditions
24/7 operational environment with rotational shifts
