Your Role and Responsibilities
AIX is the leading open standards-based UNIX operating system from IBM that provides scalable,secure, and robust infrastructure solution for enterprise customers. As an Operating System architect, you will apply your deep expertise to design and implement new feature functions in various components of AIX Operating System like kernel,file systems,security,networking,device drivers etc.
As an Operating System Architect you will

• Design and implement new feature functions in various components of AIX operating system
• Work with Product Managers , Sr leaders and customers to understand the Business needs and implement the same in AIX OS
• Adhere to the AIX development process and own the product delivery for the respective component.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8+ years of relevant experience in UNIX/Linux Operating system development with specialisation in any of the key OS domains like kernel, file systems, security, networking, device drivers etc.
• Proven Programming Skills in C
• Proven communication, leadership & Interpersonal skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Prior OS development experience in UNIX (HP UX, Solaris,AIX) /Linux Operating systems
• Leading teams and mentoring less experienced team members
• Proven debugging and Problem Solving skills

This job requires you to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to your start date and proof of vaccination status will be required before your start date.
