About Open Secret -

Open Secret is a healthy snacks and foods brand on a mission to "Un-Junk India" by offering snacks that are nutritious, tasty, and free from common junk ingredients like refined flour (maida), palm oil, trans fats, and artificial colours or preservatives.

Vendor Selection:

Identifying and evaluating potential contract manufacturers/vendors based on their capabilities, quality standards, pricing, and reliability.

Contract Negotiation:

Negotiating contract terms, pricing, delivery schedules, quality standards, and other relevant terms and conditions with selected contract manufacturers.

Quality Management:

Ensuring that contract manufacturers meet the quality standards and specifications outlined in the contract. This may involve conducting quality audits, implementing quality control measures, and addressing any quality issues that arise.

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Collaborating with contract manufacturers to develop production plans and schedules that align with the company's needs and goals. This includes monitoring production progress and adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.

Inventory Management:

Managing inventory levels to ensure that the company has an adequate supply of products while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.

Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with contract manufacturers to ensure open communication, resolve any issues that arise, and foster a collaborative working environment.

Cost Management:

Monitoring production costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensuring that contract manufacturers comply with all relevant regulatory requirements, such as safety, environmental, and labour regulations.

Risk Management:

Identifying potential risks associated with contract manufacturing activities and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

Continuous Improvement:

Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of contract manufacturing operations.

Overall, the contract manufacturing plays a crucial role in managing the relationship between the Open secret and its contract manufacturers, ensuring that products are manufactured to the required quality standards, delivered on time, and at a competitive cost.

Required Experience

1) Minimum experience 2-4 years handling contract manufacturing end end food manufacturing preferred .
2) Having start up brand experience additional advantage , by qualification Graduate with science / Commerce / technical field / Food tech / Food science .This job is considered frequency travelling of CM site during production / Trial at CM site .

3) Should be ready to stretch when ever business requirement He / she should be value added in business in term of margin improvement , innovation or renovation idea to reduce cost of product .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,864.98 per month
