STRATEGY (MUMBAI) :-
Role Overview :-
The Strategy & Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for developing strategic insights and data-backed recommendations that drive impactful experiential marketing and activation campaigns. The role involves deep research, consumer understanding, competitive benchmarking, and the use of media and analytics tools to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities :-
1. Strategic Planning & Insights :-
Collaborate with business, creative, and client servicing teams to shape brand activation and experiential strategies.
Analyze consumer journeys and identify touchpoints where experiential marketing can drive engagement.
Develop brand and campaign strategies based on market trends, audience behavior, and data-driven insights.
Translate research and analytics into compelling narratives and creative briefs.
2. Data Analytics & Research :-
Leverage media analytics, digital, and social listening tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Talkwalker, Meltwater, SimilarWeb, Sprinklr, SEMrush, etc.) to derive insights.
Monitor and measure campaign performance across multiple channels (on-ground + digital amplification).
Conduct competitive benchmarking, category analysis, and post-campaign evaluations.
Create dashboards, reports, and presentations summarizing key metrics, ROI, and audience engagement.
3. Brand & Market Intelligence :-
Track emerging trends in experiential marketing, BTL, influencer, and digital ecosystems.
Conduct brand audits and develop positioning recommendations for clients.
Build case studies and thought leadership content showcasing strategic impact.
4. Internal Collaboration :-
Partner with creative and account teams to ensure that all ideas are insight-led and data-supported.
Provide strategic rationale during client pitches and presentations.
Collaborate with media planning teams to integrate experiential campaigns with digital and social media outreach.
5. Measurement & Optimization :-
Define KPIs for experiential campaigns and activations.
Use data to optimize performance, audience targeting, and engagement quality.
Present campaign learnings and insights for continuous improvement.
Key Skills & Competencies :-
Strong analytical mindset with a balance of strategic and creative thinking.
Proficiency in data and media tools such as Google Analytics, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Sprinklr, SEMrush, SimilarWeb, or equivalent.
Deep understanding of consumer insights, marketing funnels, and campaign metrics.
Excellent presentation, visualization, and storytelling skills.
Ability to translate numbers into actionable marketing decisions.
Experience working in or with BTL / experiential / activation agencies.
Up-to-date with digital + experiential integration trends.
Qualifications & Experience :-
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Media, or Mass Communication.
4 8 years of experience in strategy, insights, or analytics (preferably in marketing or brand activation).
Experience using social listening and analytics platforms.
Exposure to campaign measurement and ROI analysis for on-ground + digital campaigns.
KPIs/ Success Metrics :-
Accuracy and effectiveness of insights delivered.
Strategic quality of campaign recommendations.
Improvement in campaign ROI and engagement outcomes.
Client satisfaction and repeat business based on strategic value addition.
Quality of presentations and data storytelling.
